FETE HOME AMBASSADORS / Style Icons We've Chosen To Represent Our Tabletop Collection

Sarah Tucker and Molly Boyd

Sarah Tucker and Molly Boyd are a stylish sister-duo who love their family, thrifting, mixing cocktails and celebrating Tabletop Tuesday. Molly owns a boutique event planning company, and enjoys nothing more than turning her clients’ vision – no matter how unique - into reality. And, Sarah cherishes the opportunity her blog and Instagram provides to bring inspiration, kindness and beauty to her audience. Both women have Instagram accounts not be missed. Check out Sarah’s recent Star Wars-themed party for her son! And, Molly’s #Mollyfinds are a weekly curation of chic that are not to be missed!

Of course, we love a dynamic duo. And, a tabletop loving one to boot! We are thrilled to see how Sarah and Molly mixed our new Scalloped Placemats in red, our white Hemstich Napkins, and Fringe Flower Napkin Rings with bamboo flatware and their personal collection of blue and white vases and candlesticks. The result is a table filled with color, pattern and texture which feels classic, but oh so fresh!

Fete Home: What’s something we’d always find at one of your parties?

Sarah: Flowers and a candle in the powder room! I always try to zhush it up everywhere, even in the powder room.

Molly: It’s a safe bet that there will be some blue and white chinoiserie involved.

Fete Home: What’s the first thing you consider when hosting a party?

Molly: The guest list!

Fete Home: What’s always in your fridge? Are you always party-ready?

Sarah: Champagne! It's always fun to pop a bottle to celebrate someone - impromptu especially!

Molly: An array of flavored sparkling waters (they make for great cocktail mixers!) and fixings for a cheese board.

Fete Home: Why do you love to entertain?

Molly: To bring people together, connect with others and make memories!

Fete Home: What’s the inspiration for today’s table?

Sarah: A blue and white lovers Valentine’s Day table - we loved the classic red roses, together with those gorgeous placemats! The napkin rings bring such a fun element, and different texture to the table!

Fete Home: What’s your favorite item in this Fete Home collection?

Sarah: I love your cabbage ware! It's so beautiful!

Molly: The napkin rings are so fun and versatile. I know we’ll use these over and over again!

Fete Home: What are your tips for creating a stylish table setting?

Sarah: Make low arrangements or ones that do not obstruct the view of the person across from them.

Molly: Don’t be afraid to mix patterns, textures and scales. In fact- try to do all of those things, haha!

Fete Home: What do you love about what you do for a living?

Sarah: I love that I'm typing this in my pjs (: I love the creative aspect, flexibility, and new challenges that pop up making it interesting and exciting. But most of all, I love the relationships I've made with other bloggers and like-minded business women.

Molly: I love taking an initial thought or idea and watching it come to life. It’s not always obvious what an event or wedding will look like when we first begin the planning process, so when I see all of the puzzle pieces falling perfectly into one cohesive design, I get so excited!

Fete Home: What’s the best party you’ve ever hosted and why?

Sarah: Probably my oldest sons Star Wars 7th birthday. I planned it in a few days, but we had a huge turnout (pre-COVID days). My dad, brother, brother in law (Molly's husband) and friend all dressed as Star Wars characters, and battled the children. It was just a great night with a Star Wars movie set up in the backyard, lots of friends, and laughter.

Fete Home: What’s the best party you’ve ever been to and why?

Sarah: My husband and I went to our friends’ wedding at the Vatican.   Their reception was at this beautiful villa overlooking Rome in the Borghese garden. It was magical!

Molly: A girlfriends wedding in Tuscany was beyond magical. The details were so carefully crafted and everything felt just so effortlessly chic (I’m convinced the latter is an innate Italian trait!).

Fete Home: If you could throw a party anywhere in the world, where would it be?

Molly: Choosing just one place feels nearly impossible! However, when I think of a perfect place to throw a fabulous party, St. Barths comes to mind right away.

Fete Home: With a limited budget to spend on party décor, what’s the most important thing you would you buy?

Molly: Candles, flowers, place cards, and ribbon to tie around napkins are a few simple ways to really create some charming ambiance.

Fete Home: If you can have an unlimited supply of one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Sarah: Fresh flowers delivered straight to my door!

Molly: Manuka honey!
